I recently picked up the Becca Aqua Luminous Perfecting Concealer to test out because I am always on the hunt for a solid concealer that works well with my dry skin. This one sounded like it was going to be absolutely PERFECT for dry skin, so I was very curious how it was going to perform.

Becca Aqua Luminous Perfecting Concealer Review
My first impression of this concealer was not that great. I tried it a handful of times, and nothing really impressed me about it, so I put it away and forgot about it for a while.
A few months ago when reorganizing I picked it back up again to take pictures for this blog and share my review (on how I was not impressed with this). I applied it to one side to take a comparison pic (featured below), and was shocked by how much I really liked this concealer!! I actually came inside to check it out in the mirror up close because I was so confused how I tossed this aside earlier on when it was actually such a gem!

I have since used it plenty more, and the Becca Aqua Luminous Perfecting Concealer is definitely in the ranking for one of my favorites. IMO, this is the perfect no-makeup makeup concealers or light makeup day concealers. It provides enough coverage to make you look more awake, doesn’t look dry or cakey, blends so easily, and is SO lightweight on the skin. Love how hydrating it is as well!
If you’re looking for full coverage, this ain’t it. It’s medium coverage and nothing more. However, I like that it’s so lightweight and provides me with enough coverage to look a bit more human on those lighter makeup days (which are more often for me than my heavier makeup days).
Something about the finish of this concealer is so pretty and natural, and a big part of why I love this product so much.
I typically blend it with my Real Techniques Sponge, and find that to work best for me.
I read through some of the reviews on Sephora, and some send that after a while their concealer smelled like it had gone bad. I have had mine for a while now and have never noticed anything like that going on, so not sure what that’s about. But if you have that experience I suggest you bring it back to Sephora for a refund, they have a really good refund policy!
Also, I wear the lightest shade Porcelain. Their shade range is on the limited side, with 9 total shades to choose from. But I think because it’s a medium coverage concealer, even if it’s not a perfect match you’ll be able to easily blend it in.

Final Thoughts
If you’re looking for a hydrating, lightweight, medium coverage concealer that looks natural on the skin while giving you a radiant finish, I suggest trying out the Becca Aqua Luminous Perfecting Concealer! It’s my current go-to on lighter makeup days, and I expect I’ll be using this all summer long since I hate the feeling of heavy makeup when it’s hot out.
