I’ve always loved the idea of cooling and refreshing under eye patches, so when I recently received the Pixi Under Eye Patches, I was so excited to try them out! They come in a little jar with a small plastic scoop to help you get them out, and I’ve been wearing them a ton lately, so sharing my review with y’all now!

PS – this product was gifted by Pixi! All reviews are 100% completely honest.
Background Info on Pixi
Pixi is an affordable-ish skincare, makeup, and beauty brand with quite the wide range of products! I personally feel they are slightly more expensive than your average drugstore product, makeup or skincare. That being said, they are definitely much more affordable than mid or high range skincare and makeup products.
They have multiple lines within their skincare products that target a variety of skin types and skin issues. There is something for everyone and any skin issue you’d want to treat at Pixi. They also drop new product lines quite frequently, so if they don’t have something you’re looking for right now, odds are they will soon.
Target is a great place to check out their range of beauty products that Pixi offers and get a feel for a brand overall. At any Target I’ve visited, there is always a big Pixi display!
Is Pixi Cruelty Free?
Yes, Pixi is a cruelty free brand!

How To Use The Pixi Under Eye Patches
After cleansing, separate an eye patch using the spatula, applying one patch to each under eye (thickest part of the patch should be at the outer corner of your eye.) Leave the patches on for 10 minutes, discard after use. Gently pat in any leftover serum.
Can be used as often as needed!
For an extra cooling and refreshing experience store them in the fridge!
Also, don’t store sideways or the serum will get unevenly distributed.

Pixi Under Eye Patches Review
For context – I deal with very occasional puffiness, but deal with under eye darkness daily. Typically my puffiness is on my eyelids, not underneath my eyes.
The Pixi Under Eye Patches are very cooling upon application, even without placing them in the fridge before, but especially then. So refreshing!!
I have sensitive skin and get a little nervous with cooling products, but this doesn’t irritate my very sensitive under eye area at all. Feels cooling without being tingly or unpleasant. Love how they feel!
The actual experience of having these eye gels on is very calming and spa like, very much a fan of that. And they stay in place very well without slipping and sliding!
That being said, I’m not sure the serum is doing much of anything for me. After removing the gels and patting in the excess serum, it never fully sinks in and my under eye area remains tacky. Don’t love that. Also, if there is a bit too much serum leftover, it will pill up and start to peel.
I haven’t felt like these have done anything for my under eye discoloration, but I didn’t expect them to. The only thing that works for me is covering them up with a corrector and/or concealer. They’re darrrrrrk. Vamp vibes for sure.

I don’t deal with under eye puffiness, but I would imagine the cooling effect of the Pixi Under Eye Patches would likely help to calm some of that down a bit.
Are they an essential item to my skincare routine? Probably not. These are definitely more of a nice to have rather than a must have since the serum doesn’t work for me.
There’s basically two parts to this product, the eye gel itself, and the serum. I really enjoyed the actual eye gel itself and the cooling sensation it has!! But not so much the serum.
Final Thoughts
The Pixi Under Eye Patches are definitely more on the affordable side if you’re looking to try out under eye gels. They are wonderfully cooling and refreshing! However, the serum leaves much to be desired, and if you’re wanting more than just a cooling sensation, I would look elsewhere.
