The First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream has been a favorite product of mine for years, so I’m sharing my review here on the blog to explain why I love it so much!

If you’ve followed me over on my other blog, Ivy Rose Knows, you’re probably well aware that this is a longtime favorite. It’s featured on one of my earliest posts both on Instagram and the blog!

I’ve always loved and gravitated towards First Aid Beauty since they formulate all their products to be safe for sensitive skin. So many skincare products tend to be irritating on me, and it’s great to find a brand that avoids artificial fragrances and other irritating ingredients in their products.

They actually have over 1300 ingredients they purposefully avoid using, and you can read more about that here.

This First Aid Beauty set is currently on sale and a great way to try a variety of their products, including the Ultra Repair Cream!

Ultra Repair Cream Ingredient Highlights (from Sephora):

  • Colloidal Oatmeal – to soothe irritated skin due to dryness, eczema, rashes, and other skin irritations
  • Shea Butter – Moisturizes and protects the skin barrier with vitamins, minerals, and essential fatty acids.
  • Allantoin – Calms and soothes skin.
  • Ceramides – Strengthens the skin barrier and moisturizes skin.

On Sephora, it was reviewed over 6300 times with a rating of 4.6 out of 5 stars!

It comes in three different sizes, mini, standard, and value. I own all three, of course. The mini is perfect if you’re just looking to try out the Ultra Repair Cream without committing to a bigger size!

I like the mini to keep in my bag. I apply hand lotion all the time, so I always like having this on hand. The value size I keep in my bathroom to use as my body lotion post shower. And the standard size I keep on my nightstand because I can never go too far without having this cream nearby!

My Ultra Repair Cream review in a nutshell? I’m obsessed! Can you tell?

Back of the Ultra Repair Cream.

It has a whipped consistency which makes it more it on the lightweight side, even though it’s such a rich and moisturizing cream. It absorbs very quickly, but doesn’t just vanish as other quick to absorb lotions can. It leaves behind perfectly hydrated skin!

The Ultra Repair Cream is so nourishing and moisturizing and makes such a big difference for me in terms of hydration and soothing any irritation or redness. I have super dry skin, which only gets worse in the winter, and I slather myself in this! It is an absolute game changer if you also suffer from dry skin.

I have used this on my face, but it was a bit heavy for me to use year round as my regular moisturizer. If you have severely dry skin, perhaps incorporating this as a nighttime moisturizer a few times a week might help, I often do that when I need extra hydration.

You also could use this on any dry patches or irritated skin you’re dealing with, like as a spot treatment. I tend to use this a bit more on my face during the winter when my skin is particularly dry. I do still like it as a facial moisturizer, I just tend to prefer gel consistencies over creams.

My favorite ways to use the Ultra Repair Cream is as a body lotion and hand lotion. I typically apply this right after I shower, while my skin is still a bit on the damp side, to seal in all the moisture. And like I said before, it’s very quick to absorb and hydrate my sin.

Same goes for using it as a hand cream, quick to absorb and no greasy residue left behind whatsoever. It’s my all time favorite hand cream, and I have a weird obsession with hand creams, so that’s saying something!

I also deal with KP on my arms as well. If you don’t know what that is, consider yourself lucky. But, using this lotion makes a big difference in how the skin on my arms feels. Really has helped with KP for me, and I know plenty of other reviews have said the same thing!

Also worth noting is that I gave a set of these to my mom for the holidays and she is now just as hooked as I am! She deals with really dry hands, and said that the Ultra Repair Cream is perfect for hydrating her skin without being greasy. And moms know best, right?

I promise you that the First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream is an absolutely amazing product that you need to pick up and try for yourself! With the mini size as an option, you don’t really have to invest much to try it out. Or just pop into a Sephora and try one of the samplers out, trust me, you’ll be hooked!

Don’t forget to try out this First Aid Beauty set that’s on sale right now!
