Once The Ordinary launched at Sephora, I instantly added a bunch of products to my cart including The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors HA moisturizer. Shocker right?! I can’t resist moisturizers! But between that insanely good price point and rave reviews I was SO intrigued if something so affordable could really be that good of a product. After testing for a few months now, I am ready to share my thoughts!

The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors HA Moisturizer Review
WINNER.
She’s a winner!
Coming in at under $6!!! For a full sized product. And it’s so good, like what????!
I honestly love The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors HA moisturizer and not only because it’s so affordable, it’s a really solid product!
Let’s dive into the deets though.
In terms of consistency, it’s leans more on the thick side for sure. It’s a like a whipped lotion consistency I would say. Because of this, it does take a bit of extra rubbing for it to fully absorb and for you to no longer be able to see white product on your face.
It doesn’t really have much of a scent at all, which I like.
The packaging is very minimalistic. It’s a tube, and you squeeze out what you need onto your hand. My one complaint is that the actual hole where the product comes out gathers up product a little bit so it can be goopy right on that spot (it doesn’t squeeze that onto your hand though). Not a huge deal. I would be more annoyed if it squeezed that goopy part onto my hand when I’m applying, but since it stays put it’s fine. (hopefully y’all know what I mean!)
I have very dry skin and have felt like this does a great job of hydrating my face. When I’m feeling especially dry (like right now when I’m visiting Colorado instead of the normal swampyness of where I’m from), I will apply two layers.
The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors HA moisturizer is quick to absorb, but doesn’t just evaporate completely as if I applied no product at all. It is hydrating my skin and I notice a huge difference when using it!
I also don’t feel like it’s SO hydrating that it’s just sitting on top of my skin never actually sinking in. It’s a good middle ground between a gel formula and a super thick cream formula. Hydrating, but actually absorbs. Win win.
I think normal-dry skin peeps will definitely like this moisturizer. It’s fairly light, but leans more hydrating, so if you have oily skin it could be worth a try, but might not be for you.
I haven’t noticed any breakouts at all since using this either.
I actually really like the packaging because it’s sleek and can easily be thrown into your bag in case you’d like to reapply throughout the day.
100% will repurchase this (at some point….I have quite a few moisturizers to work through 🤦♀️ #beautybloggerproblems)
Final Thoughts
At just under $6 for a full size of The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors HA, this is a no brainer. It’s a solid moisturizer that gives you a good dose of hydration that actually sinks into the skin all while not being too heavy. Highly recommend you give this a try!!
Shop at Ulta (it’s a larger size so it’s slightly more)
