I was super excited to write this Charlotte Tilbury Lipstick review because I am 100% obsessed and need to shout it from the rooftops via my little blog. They are seriously so good, so comfortable to wear, and absolutely stunning.

Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks

Charlotte Tilbury is one of my favorite brands. Her products are all so high quality and luxurious. I feel so fancy when I’m using them. Not to mention the fact that they look beautiful on display. And of course, the products themselves are AMAZING. I’ve yet to try one I didn’t like. I’m SO impressed by all of them.

I’m planning on grabbing one of her foundations to try soon so I can test that out too, I’ve heard great things about her Airbrush Flawless Longwear Foundation, so I think I’ll pick that one up.

Back to the lipstick, I’ve tried the Matte Revolution Lipstick, K.I.S.S.I.N.G Lipstick, and Hot Lips Lipstick. She has a few others I haven’t tried yet, but I’ll add those in when I do. Here’s a little info on those three lipsticks:

Matte Revolution Lipstick

Average rating:
Sephora – 4.3/5 stars, 547 reviews
Nordstrom – 4.4/5 stars, 634 reviews

From Sephora, “The lipstick features 3D glow pigments that help lips appear wider and fuller. The matte formula is enriched with Charlotte’s secret ingredient and orchid extract to protect and soothe lips for a cashmere finish. The unique, square-angled tip mimics the shape of a lip brush for a precise application.”

K.I.S.S.I.N.G Lipstick

Average rating:
Sephora – 4.4/5 stars, 81 reviews
Nordstrom – 4.1/5 stars, 306 reviews

From Sephora, “Enriched with Charlotte’s secret ingredients, the K.I.S.S.I.N.G. formula protects lips from UV damage, leaving them cashmere-soft and irresistible. A special blend of waxes maintains the rich color while making this lipstick glide over the contours of your lips, with no bleeding outside the lip line. Light-diffusing pigments give lips a brilliant, multi-dimensional finish and full-bodied effect.”

The Pillow Talk shade by Charlotte Tilbury

Charlotte Tilbury Lipstick Review

Whether it’s the Matte Revolution formula or the K.I.S.S.I.N.G. formula, which has a bit more sheen to it, they are both so comfortable to wear. Each lipstick I own from Charlotte Tilbury is incredibly pigmented and beautiful. I love her shade range, I think everyone would be able to find their perfect nude, no matter your skin tone.

The matte formula itself doesn’t fully dry down like a liquid lipstick does, although she does have liquid lipsticks I just haven’t tried them yet. The regular lipstick does transfer, but it is still very long lasting for a lipstick. I have found it lasts through drinking and eating, for the most part, only really wearing away in the middle inner part of my lips. Super easy to touch up though.

Even though the formula is matte, it still feels very hydrating, and like I said, it is comfortable to wear. Doesn’t feel like it’s drying out my lips or making them look cracked or weird, like some really drying lipsticks or liquid lipsticks can do. Just a stunning lipstick that lasts you all night!

The K.I.S.S.I.N.G. formula it a little less long wearing, but even more comfortable and hydrating compared to Matte Revolution. Still lasts for a long time though. It doesn’t have a lot of sheen to it, just a hint really, but gives your lips a lit from within kind of glow. I only own one lipstick in this formula, but plan to pick up a few more because it’s a really beautiful formula.

In the Matte Revolution line, I own her cult classic Pillow Talk. In the Hot Lips line, it’s also the Matte Revolution formula, and those shades are Super Cindy and Kim K.W., which has a satin finish to it. I also own Rose Kiss, which is a Matte Revolution, but I can’t find that shade online. It was sold during a Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, and I think it was exclusive to that set sold. The other part of that set was the lipstick I own from the K.I.S.S.I.N.G. line called Blushing Dream, also exclusive to Nordstrom.

One thing I really can’t go without mentioning is that yes, they are pricier lipsticks. I personally find them worth the price tag, but I’m a high end beauty addict, so maybe that’s just me. But they’re so beautiful, both the product and the packaging, and wear so well, that I don’t mind. I try to grab them when there is a sale, typically one of Sephora’s, so if you want to save a bit of money when trying them out, that would be a good time to buy.

However if they are out of your price range for a lipstick, don’t sweat it! There are plenty of more affordable, also beautiful lippies out there!

Charlotte Tilbury Super Cindy – Matte Revolution

Color: muted nude

The Charlotte Tilbury Super Cindy Lipstick

This lipstick took me a few wears to truly fall in love with but it’s quickly become a favorite! Not too bold, mostly looks like it enhances the color of my lips. Like a your lips but better kinda color.

Charlotte Tilbury Kim K.W. – Matte Revolution

Color: nude – satin finish

The Charlotte Tilbury lipstick in the shade Kim K. W.

This is a super popular shade that I’ve seen look stunning on so many people, but I don’t love it on me. I tend not to love peachy nudes, I just don’t think it works with my skin tone personally. I’ve been wearing this more as a highlight, putting it in the middle of my lips on top of another lipstick. But on it’s own, don’t love it.

Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk – Matte Revolution

Color: nude pink

The cult classic Pillow Talk lipstick by Charlotte Tilbury

My perfect nude. I knew I was absolutely going to fall in love with this lipstick. I had previously tried her lip liner in the same shade and felt like it was the perfect pinky-mauvey nude for my skin tone. The lipstick seems a bit darker than the liner, but still, I LOVE. Will be wearing all fall, seems like the perrrrrfect fall lipstick to me.

Easily some of my favorite lippies!

A few good Charlotte Tilbury deals going on right now! Including a lip set that includes my favorite Pillow Talk lipstick + liner!
