As someone with very dry skin, finding a setting powder can be quite difficult. I decided to put the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Powder to the test, and see how it stood up against my dry skin. You of course want it to set your undereye or face, but the key is that you in NO way way want it to look cakey.
I guess no matter what your skin type you’d want that. But if you have dry skin, you are already prone to cakey-ness when you add a powder on top. Powders can also accentuate overall dryness, flakey patches, and just do no favors for your skin.
They need to oh so perfectly set your makeup and keep things in place, while also not sucking the life out of your skin. I personally don’t feel I’ve had all that much luck when it comes to powders.
Typically, once I apply them, all traces of hydration or moisture whatsoever completely vanish. My concealer or foundation might stay in place, but trust me, it’s not a good look.
I had heard nothing but rave reviews about the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Powder. So, when I somewhat recently went through a Charlotte Tilbury phase and decided to grab a bunch of products to try, the Powder was on the top of my list.

My review of the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Powder? Well first of all, that’s a mouthful. But second, yes, it’s honestly a really really really good powder.
I’m honestly a little annoyed every time I love a Charlotte Tilbury products because they ain’t cheap. Although I’ve used the powder plenty and you’d never even know, there’s not even a dent whatsoever! So I do think it will last me a long time.
But yes, this powder is a really good one. It’s in NO way drying. It really does leave your skin looking airbrushed and soft. It helps keep your makeup in place without looking cakey. Looks so natural on the skin. My skin always feels so soft when I’m wearing it. Such a winner!
Even when I’m especially dry, this powder doesn’t accentuate it at all. It’s SO good for dry skin, in my opinion, but plenty of reviews state that it works wonders for their normal or oily skin as well.
I mainly use this on my undereyes, but it works well for my entire face too. I’ve been loving it paired with the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Away Concealer!
It’s translucent, but it comes in 3 different shades so you can find the one that best fits your skin tone.
The packaging is also absolutely stunning, and very sleek. Perfect for taking on the go, although you will need to bring something to apply it with.
I personally love using this with my beauty blender. I will dab the damp sponge into the powder, and press it onto the areas I’m drying to set. Perfect way to seal in my makeup and a bit of extra moisture.
This has absolutely become one of my favorite powders, and I highly recommend you checking it out no matter what your skin type is!
